Lyrics
Intermission/ Shorty you were slow I got hit by other digits
And they Listening to me/ Told you first time that we met that if you slow then I best keep all my business separate
Get me all in oh you get me all in/ Loving i’m feeling your body got me so excited
All in oh you get me all in/ Loving i’m feeling your body get me so excited
Voices in my head I gotta flip a coin/ Sirens in my ears its hard to hear the point
Got me feeling lit I’m feeling energized/ Different when I thought you were a joke but now its real
Like are you serious?/ When you act like that is it love or lust
Ask me how I feel/ Giving love and trust/ gaining fucks at most/ and you asked me what I wanted now its real
this love so troublesome/ this the sound of my voice getting over us
Ask me how I feel/ giving love and trust/ now there’s fences in place for the both of us
They get me going all the way/ Late night they just glad I stayed/ They get me going all the way
Get me all in oh you get me all in/ Loving i’m feeling your body got me so excited
All in oh you get me all in/ Loving i’m feeling your body get me so excited
My mind is on a race/ and you got me hunting
My mind is on a race/ and you got me all in
(X2)
Get me going all the way
La-Late Night they just glad I stayed

This is one of my favorite lyrics because I originally had the image of sirens- as in the mythological creatures who used to lure sailors to their demise- whispering in my ear. As we were recording, I realized it could also be interpreted as ambulance sirens. These sirens became a consistent theme throughout the project.

I like the idea of fences representing boundaries. When you break up with someone it’s like you build a fence around each other. I can still see you —but only from across the fence. These boundaries that test our discipline because I could still get across our fence if I was willing to hop it.

I recorded this outro off the dome and I thought it was super catchy. For a second, I was debating to make this the hook but with the way it was working out structurally I would have had to get rid of the sirens verse which you know is one of my favorites soO. It lives as the outro.
